On calling 1850-212999, your details will be taken by a receptionist and you will be phoned back by a registered nurse, who will:

a) Provide immediate professional advice over the phone
b) Arrange an appointment for the patient to see the doctor if necessary.
c) In an emergency contact the Ambulance Service.
